The GVHS PO welcomes you to a new school year at Great Valley High School and encourages your involvement in the Parents Organization. GVHS PO is a committed group of individuals that work on behalf of all Great Valley High School students. We work directly with students and the administration to plan and carryout fun-filled events throughout the year.
The Parents Organization is responsible for many events that benefit our students. Events supported and organized by the GVHS PO include the following:

Freshmen Dinner
Patriots Day
Junior After Prom
SAT and ACT Practice exams
Dental Clinic
Teacher Appreciation Day
Staff Appreciation
Baccalaureate
Senior Dinner
To support the funding of these activities, the GVHS PO produces the school directory each year, providing names, addresses, e-mails, and phone numbers of fellow classmates. For the senior class, the directory is an invaluable purchase to stay in touch with your fellow-classmates and their families. For underclassmen, it is an invaluable tool to get and stay in touch with their friends during the year.
Copies of the directory are available in the front office for $10.00 each. If you are not currently in the directory and would like to be, please contact the GVHS PO Directory committee lead, Chris Campbell at gvhsdirectory@gvsdpto.org.
The purpose of the Parents Organization is to promote open communication and involvement among parents/guardians, teachers, and administrators. Our high school Parents Executive Board is committed to these goals and will work with parents and staff to make GVHS the best possible place for our students to learn and grow.
In order to facilitate these goals, the GVHS PO Executive Board organizes a number of committees that serve the staff and students of the high school. All parents/guardians of high school students are eligible to participate in the Parents Organization. Meetings are held to plan events and dialog with the school staff. Valuable information is shared and questions are addressed. Please join us and find a way to contribute your time and talents to enhance the educational experience of our high school students.
Our children benefit from the mutual effort coordinated by the Parents Organization and together we can make this an exceptional year. Feel free to call any of our Executive Board members with your questions, concerns, and offers to help during the year.
