I've been a registered nurse for over 33 years. I worked as an adult critical care nurse for 20 years functioning as a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Educator for my last year in hospital nursing. I substituted in the Great Valley School District for 9 years. I was the KD Markley Elementary School Nurse for 7 years, and have been the Sugartown Elementary School Nurse since it re-opened in the 2006-2007 school year!! I earned my Master of Education degree in School Health Services, my Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, my Pennsylvania State School Nurse Certification, and National Certification in Legal Nurse Consulting. I taught ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) with the American Heart Association during my years in critical care, and I taught first aid and CPR for the American Red Cross for 14 years. I also teach graduate nursing courses during the summer! I am currently taking courses towards my Master of Science degree in Nursing/Nursing Education.
